Pierre Herme’s First UAE Flagship Is Coming to Marina Mall

Pierre Herme Paris, the celebrated pastry house behind some of the most recognised macarons in the world, is opening its first standalone flagship in the UAE at Marina Mall Abu Dhabi this September. It follows the success of Majlis by Pierre Herme at Rosewood Abu Dhabi, and arrives as a refined all-day destination where French indulgence meets inventive cooking.

At Pierre Herme, a macaron is treated less like a sweet than like a sentence, each flavour a line the House has spent decades learning to write.

The Signature

Ispahan, First Among Equals

The Ispahan, rose, raspberry and lychee held between two rose-tinted macaron shells, remains the House’s calling card, and the clearest expression of its way with flavour.

The Maison

Haute Patisserie, by the Book

Founded in 1997, Pierre Herme Paris built its name on treating pastry as composition, pairing rigorous ingredient selection with combinations no one had tried before. Its founder, named the World’s Best Pastry Chef in 2016 and long nicknamed the Picasso of Pastry, approaches each creation as an artist would, working for taste, sensation and emotion rather than decoration alone.

The Icons, in Full

Alongside the Ispahan, the menu gives centre stage to Infiniment Vanille and the layered 2000 Feuilles, with a wider selection of pastries built on avant-garde pairings and precise, intricate finishing.

An All-Day Table

More Than a Pastry Case

The flagship is conceived for the whole day, from viennoiseries and breakfast through lunch and dinner. Savoury highlights include the Pierre Herme Chicken Croque Monsieur, avocado toast with confit egg yolk and pistachio vinaigrette, and a pan-seared beef tenderloin, while beautifully packaged confectionery and the iconic macaron boxes make the case for it as a gifting destination too.

The Croque, Reconsidered

The Chicken Croque Monsieur signals the kitchen’s intent, the same precision the House brings to sugar, turned toward a proper all-day menu.

Brunch

A Softer Start

Avocado toast with a confit egg yolk and pistachio vinaigrette rounds out a morning menu that reads as carefully composed as the pastry counter.

The Man Behind It

A Vision That Keeps Moving

Pierre Herme has spent more than two decades pushing the definition of what a pastry can be, from measured, less-sweet desserts to a fully vegan line, across more than ninety points of sale in twenty countries. Abu Dhabi is the next chapter of a widening Middle East presence, with Saudi Arabia named as the House’s next destination in the years ahead.

For Boujeez

A pastry house rarely opens a standalone flagship to sell macarons alone. What Pierre Herme is really placing at Marina Mall is a room to sit in, a reason to stay from morning coffee to an evening plate, sold on craft rather than novelty. In a region that increasingly measures luxury by how well its time is spent, that is the more valuable thing to offer, and the harder one to get right.
