The dress first broke the internet when it sparked Google Image Search and now it goes viral once again for its 20th anniversary.

News straight from Milan Fashion Week: J.Lo stole the show at Versace when she closed the Spring 2020 runway romp in a remake of her iconic green Grammys dress. You know the dress, it’s, uh, the reason Google Image search exists today. Seriously.

In a venue featuring a giant golden palm tree, fashion insiders freaked out when the musician walked out in a green tropical print dress with a plunging neckline that looked almost exactly like what she wore in 2000. It was one of the most controversial and polarizing dresses of all time, and is part of the reason Lopez earned her place as the 2019 CFDA Icon Award recipient.

This season marks the 20th anniversary of the dress, continuing a trend of nostalgia at Versace that we saw in Spring 2018 when creative director Donatella Versace finally debuted a tribute collection to the house’s founder, and her brother, the late Gianni Versace. It perfectly aligns with fashion’s nostalgia trending towards the 2000s after the last retrospective show fit in with 90s mania, and no doubt this moment is going to go down in history as the highlight of this season’s fashion month. Watch it for yourself below.
