Global Village Sets Its Season 31 Opening for 14 October
The wait finally has a date. Global Village has confirmed that Season 31 opens on Wednesday 14 October, running through to May 2027 under the theme A More Wonderful World. The Dubai destination says it will reveal its new and enhanced attractions, alongside returning fan favourites, through a series of announcements in the run-up to opening day.
Thirty seasons on, the world still gathers in Dubai each winter.
The Destination
The World, Under One Roof
Part of Dubai Holding Entertainment, Global Village has been a fixture of the city’s winter calendar since 1997, a family destination built around cultural pavilions, live entertainment, dining and shopping drawn from across the world. According to the brand, it has welcomed more than 100 million guests since it first opened its gates.
The Scale
A Season Measured in Millions
The numbers give a sense of the ambition. Season 30, the brand says, brought together thirty pavilions representing more than ninety cultures, over 3,500 shopping outlets and more than 250 dining options, with 450 performers across some 40,500 shows and more than 200 rides and games at its Carnaval zone. Season 31 is set to build on that scale, with the full line-up to be revealed in the weeks ahead.

Global Village works because it turns the idea of the world into an evening out, an accessible, shared kind of luxury where the pull is not a single label but the sheer range of it. When its gates open on 14 October, they mark the real start of the Gulf’s outdoor season, and a reminder that the most enduring destinations are the ones a family returns to year after year.
