Rihanna is launching her luxury fashion brand

 

Fans started speculating when the megastar was spotted wearing over-sized shades that had “Fenty” carved on the sides, she wore the same sunglasses again on January 14 during another outing in New York.

The singer seems to plan to take her interest in fashion and beauty to the next level by creating her own luxury brand which is expected to be launched sometime this year. Her collection will most likely include fashion, leather goods, and accessories.

Rihanna’s love for fashion didn’t happen overnight. Her first fashion venture was with Armani in 2011. In 2013 unveiled several collections with the British Retailer River Island.

 

In 2014 Rihanna became the creative director of  Puma. In fall 2015, Rihanna released her first trainer with Puma, and the sneaker sold out online with three hours of its pre-sale launch.

Over the next two years, Rihanna released various other footwear in different colorways and styles.

Rihanna went on to collaborate with several fashion house’s including Stance and Manolo Blahnik.

In 2015, it was announced that Rihanna had been chosen as the new face of Dior; this makes her the first black woman to be the face of Dior.

Rihanna will receive assistance from employees from LVMH’s brands, including Louis Vuitton and Celine, along with her own team to develop her collection

LVMH owns 25 luxury houses in the fashion industry including, Fendi, Givenchy, Christian Dior, Celine, and Marc Jacobs
