TATTU Dubai Returns This September, Higher Than Before
Some restaurants are worth the wait, and TATTU Dubai is betting its audience agrees. This September the modern Asian dining destination reopens at Ciel Dubai Marina, the tower that now holds the title of the world’s tallest hotel, and it returns exactly where it made its name: at altitude. TATTU Restaurant and Bar comes back on Level 74, the TATTU Sky Lounge on Level 81, and with them the blend of contemporary Asian cooking, theatrical interiors and long views that made the brand’s first international outpost one of the city’s more talked-about tables.
The View
The Marina’s Highest Table
Height is not a gimmick here so much as the whole idea. TATTU calls itself the highest restaurant in the Marina and Palm district, and from this vantage the city arranges itself into one uninterrupted sweep, from the towers of DIFC across Palm Jumeirah to the emerging Palm Jebel Ali. It is a backdrop that shifts with the hour, gold at sunset and electric after dark, and it does much of the work the interiors then build upon.
Level 74
The House of Dragon
Level 74 is conceived as the House of Dragon, and it opens around the detail guests tend to remember first: a suspended cherry blossom tree at the heart of the room. From there the space unfolds into the atmospheric Black Dragon Dining Room and the light-filled White Dragon Sunset Bar, the two moods of the venue held in deliberate contrast. It is maximal without tipping into theme, an interior built to be lived in across a long evening.
Level 81
The House of Phoenix
Up on Level 81, the Sky Lounge takes a different bird as its muse. Conceived as the House of Phoenix, it centres on a backlit pink onyx bar beneath a birdcage-inspired ceiling, opening onto a 360-degree terrace that TATTU bills as the world’s highest fully air-conditioned open-air terrace, a meaningful distinction in a Dubai summer. It reads as an elegant perch for sunset drinks and turns, after dark, into something livelier.

TATTU Dubai: What to Know
TATTU returns with a few new ways in. A daily Business Lunch runs at the Level 74 restaurant from Monday to Friday, noon to 3:45pm, priced at AED148 with optional add-ons, while the Level 81 Sky Lounge offers a Sunset experience daily from 5pm to 8pm at AED145, with afternoon tea, brunch and DJ sessions promised later in the year. The restaurant welcomes guests daily from noon to midnight, until 1am on weekends, and the Sky Lounge opens daily from 5pm until late. Reservations open on 18 August.
