PUMA Reworks the Suede in Pearls and Lace
Some sneakers earn their status by staying still. The PUMA Suede has done the opposite. Since 1968 it has moved through subcultures and decades without ever losing itself, and its latest chapter, the Suede Bloom, leans all the way into reinvention. This is the Suede in a softer register, dressed in faux pearl, satin and lace, and it arrives as part of PUMA’s Never Not Suede campaign.

The Design
The Suede, in Bloom
Faux pearl detailing, interchangeable satin and frilled lace laces, and soft colourways bring a refined femininity to a famously unfussy silhouette. It is decoration with restraint, the kind of detail that rewards a second look.
The Icon
Never Not Suede
The Suede’s trick has always been constancy through change, a shoe that reinvents itself alongside the moment while remaining unmistakably itself. Suede Bloom follows the recent return of the OG, putting the silhouette back at the centre and celebrating the qualities that have defined it since 1968.

The Colourways
Three Ways to Bloom
The release arrives in understated shades, Powder Pink, Vintage Cream and Black, soft colours made to be styled rather than to shout. Against them, the pearl and lace detailing does the talking.
In the Region
A Regional Cast
For the Middle East, PUMA brought the story home, collaborating with regional talents including the Fawaz sisters and other style muses from across the Gulf, each bringing a personal spin to how the Suede Bloom is worn. The release is available from 13 August across the region, through PUMA.com and select PUMA stores.

The Campaign
Styled Your Way
The campaign frames blooming as both a seasonal shift and a form of self-expression, pairing the shoe with whimsical, slightly undone styling. The point is individuality, the same silhouette read a dozen personal ways.
For Boujeez
The most durable icons are the ones confident enough to change. In softening the Suede without blunting it, PUMA does the difficult thing well, letting a piece of footwear history try on a new mood without pretending to be something it is not. For the Gulf’s sneaker-literate wardrobe, that balance of heritage and lightness is exactly the appeal.
